Zoho CRM Leading the Lists in 2022
Every year, various publications and expert panels will test and rank software providers throughout the year. This type of information is beneficial to those looking for a new system or to compare how the one they use measures up to the competition. CRMs are no different, and I've kept a close eye on them. You'll often see the same names; Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive, but I noticed this year that these well-known providers aren't at the top of the list; someone else is. If you guessed Zoho CRM, you would be correct!
Here is a quick breakdown of some of these lists and what they had to say about Zoho CRM.
Paul Greenburg's CRM Watchlist
I'll start with what I think is one of the most exciting mentions! Paul Greenburg's CRM Watchlist. According to this article from ZDNet, "To win the award, you have to show that in the year immediately before submission (same year), you had a significant impact on the market – and that you have the corporate infrastructure, strategy, and resources to sustain that impact over the next three years." The CRM Watchlist is an impact award. It is not solely focused on the company's financial success, while that is a factor. Paul has said, "I'm taking your strategy, whether I agree with it or not, and seeing how well you executed it and the impact in the market as a result of that strategy." "Impact" to Paul means, "That means significant influence in the market you participate in."
Paul had over 60 registrants and 59 submissions. Zoho had the highest overall score and was a winner with distinction. Zoho also stood out in two categories; Outreach (a tie with Salesforce) and Culture (a tie with PROS). Paul said on the CRM Playaz 2022 CRM Watchlist Award Reveal Show, "Zoho's culture isn't a business culture; it's a service culture that happens to do business," after working with Zoho for many years, I would have to agree.
PC Mag - The Best CRM Software of 2022
PC Mag tested 17 of the top CRM services and narrowed it down to 10 that they feel will "best equip your business for today's digital-first customer interaction flows." The list includes; Apptivo CRM, Zendesk Sell, Sales Creatio, Freshsales CRM, HubSpot CRM, Insightly CRM, Less Annoying CRM, Pipedrive CRM, Salesforce Sales Cloud Lightning Professional, and Zoho CRM. The top three selections were Apptivo CRM, Sales Cloud Lightning Professional, and Zoho CRM, all of which have earned the Editors' Choice distinction for balanced feature sets and thoughtful integration features.
Zoho CRM received the editor's choice with 4.5/5 stars. The article states, "Zoho CRM does a great job of delivering an excellent feature mix at a competitive price and integration with a long list of compatible Zoho products; all in all, an easy pick for Editors Choice." As well as "One of the continuing trends we see with CRM solutions is consolidation into larger product ecosystems. Like the venerable Zoho CRM, some products aren't just the flagship suite of solutions in their ecosystem; they set the template for the rest of the solutions the vendor offers."
Forbes Advisor - Best CRM Software of 2022
Forbes Advisor evaluated the top CRM providers on the market and compared them based on pricing, functionality, and usability. To choose the best CRMs of 2022, Forbes Advisor compared CRM companies across 39 distinct data points. Each ranking was compiled by comparing products within a category, measuring each contender against the same set of metrics. The best CRM software had the best overall scores based on our methodology. The analyzed data included price, features offered, and ease of use. They also considered functionality, such as pipeline management, third-party integrations, analytics tools, email marketing, multicurrency support, and the ability to manage projects and leads.
Zoho CRM received a top spot with 4.6 out 5 stars, voted "best for startups." While Zoho is great for startups and other small businesses, that doesn't mean it won't also work great for a larger organization with more users. Zoho is customizable and easy to use, so it's an excellent option for any sized team.
